Imagine…

The soft sound of gentle winds whispering ever so hauntingly through tall grasses swaying in a field draped in early morning sunshine, the dawn giving birth to a new day. A flowing cry of a whippoorwill echoes along the eddies of Time. Nearby, a steady trickle of water falling over small rocks in a shallow brook speaks ever so quietly to Nature.

All of Life is in flux as it flows like water in an endless stream. Deep inside is the very energy that beats within my heart, each piece of Nature fitting into an endless puzzle, and from it, my passion for art ignites.

Flowing, exotic musical rhythms, water, gypsyFire, circusTime. These are the primary keys that open my world to all that I see, and to all that I feel when I paint the visions of Life, breathing.

It is seen in the brushstrokes that I wield from my many years of combined studies in the Asian arts and in traditional American watercolor, as well as in the literal meaning of the word “water” – although clear in substance, it adheres to the nuances of my art in shadows, reflections, hints of life stirring on and beneath its surface. In my work, time stops, a moment is captured, and yet, silently, the low throbbing beat of a heart permeates the very soul of that of which I capture.
